To become an SDEA member, you may either click the NEA link above or contact an officer and join on paper.

Yearly dues for DSU's chapter of SDEA are $37.00. By paying these dues you become a part of DSU's chapter as well as the state SDEA and the national NEA.

Being a SDEA member provides you with the following benefits:

  • $1,000,000 liability insurance while in the classroom students teaching or in other college related activities.

  • A free subscription to NEA Tomorrow's Teachers magazine.
