Here are the minutes from our last meeting:
Our next event of the year is the National Mole day on October 23rd
Some of the events we are planning for that day include an online quiz,
a Mole pun
contest, a chemistry trivia contest, name the Mole contest, and
scavenger hunt. (If any
of you have any other ideas please let us know)
Around November 15th, we are planning the Junior High Math and Science Contest.
The format is yet to be finalized but mostly it will include exams, quiz bowls,
and/or airplane flying contest. We would greatly appreciate any help that you
can provide during this event.
We also discussed a potential project of building a 5-6 story barometer either
on campus or another suitable location. Dr. Bleil will contact Dr. Knowlton in
the coming weeks to discuss more about this project.
Some other events scheduled for spring 08 include National Pie day on March 14,
Senior High Math and Science Contest and National Earth Day.
