Kappa Sigma IotaKappa Sigma Iota, KSI, is Dakota State University's campus wide Scholastic Honor Society. KSI is a society that meets about three times a year: once in the fall, once in the spring and the annual banquet. The focus of the society is scholastic achievement, not club activities. It is truly an honor to be a member of Kappa Sigma Iota; only about 10% of the students at DSU are eligible to join. Kappa Sigma Iota was organized in 1923 by Dr. E.C. Higbie, the former President of Dakota State University, which at the time was known as Eastern State Teachers College. |
