December Meeting Minutes

Attendees: Roxanna, Alissa, Nikki, Lynn, Sarah, Donelle, Rachel, Alyssa, Dorine, Joyce

·         December meeting was also our annual holiday social

·         Attendees enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner

Records Projects:

·         Sarah brought up the two possible records projects (Mitchell and Rapid City)

·         Mitchell would like us to come as soon as possible to start with records moving project

·         Attendees were urged to let Sarah know of days that they could help with either project

·         Dates for both projects will be determined later.

Holiday Raffle Fund Raiser:

·         We did the raffle drawing for the prizes

·         Several attendees won prizes

·         Prizes were delivered to Dorine and Joyce (Dorine won gift basket and Joyce won gift certificate)

·         Roxanna won $5 McDonalds bucks

·         Attendees were given prizes to deliver for winning tickets they sold

·         Total amount of money raised was counted up

·         Checks written for raffle tickets were given to Nikki to get processed at the bank

Two gift exchanges:

·         We played a game where our white elephants gifts were passed around in a circle. Joyce read a poem that told us which direction to pass our gift. When the reading was over we ended up with a white elephant gift.

·         We then passed out the more formal gift. Each attendee was told to bring a nice gift under $5. Each gift was numbered and each attendee picked a number out of a basket that corresponded to gift they received.

Next Meeting:

To be determined at the beginning of the new year.

Meeting adjourned after the gifts were passed out.
