No changes to the Treasurer’s Report

 

Spring Activities planned

·        Annual Spring Meeting

·        Faculty Appreciation – Valentine’s Day treats

·        Helpline – throughout the semester, donations can be brought to Mrs. Molstad’s office (Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, ect.)

·        Women’s Day Conference – March 20th – introduce speakers

-         1:00 Jane

-         2:00 Robbin

-         3:00 Lynette

 

·        Spring Election Meeting – April 4th – elect officers for next year

·        Easter Food Pantry – bring canned good to spring election meeting

·        March of Dimes Contribution – walk or collect and donate money to PBL’s walk-a-thon

·        Spring Installation Banquet – April 24th – introduce new members

 

Delta Mu Delta is a National Honor Society that recognized Business Administration students that have taken at least 64 credits and have maintained a 3.2 GPA.  National dues of $40 are required for a lifetime membership to Delta Mu Delta.  DSU is the Gamma Xi Chapter which started in 1978.  Each member is required to pay $3 per semester to be in the club. 

 

Scholarships are available.  Thirty-five to forty scholarships are given out that range in dollar amount from $2000 to $500.  Contact Mrs. Molstad for the forms needed to apply.

 

New members of Delta Mu Delta will be initiated at the banquet on April 24th.  All members are obligated to attend.  New members should turn in their personal data sheet to Mrs. Molstad.

 

The banquet will be at Nicky’s on April 24th.  Social hour begins at 6:30, followed by the dinner served at 7:00, and the program at 7:30.  Chicken, baked potato, a salad, and dessert will be served at a cost of $8 - $10 per plate. 

 

Ed Fiegen, president of Wells Fargo, was selected as our honorary member.
